A survey in the pedestrian underpass at Central Station will determine the favorite routes of Brno’s citizens. The information will be used in a prep process for the reconstruction of Brno underpass known also as “Myší díra” [Czech for a “mouse hole”].
On Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, there will be employees of the Department of Transport and Communications of Brno handing out simple cards to all pedestrians at the underpass entrances. These people, when leaving the underpass, will throw the cards in special collection containers at the exits. The survey aims to obtain data about the busiest routes there.
The City Council encourages the locals to come and take part in the survey for a better Brno.
The reconstruction is currently on hold for an ongoing court trial regarding the ownership of the Mouse Hole.
