The very best fest for art-lovers, concert-goers, foodies, and internationals Meeting Brno Festival starts this Friday at Moravské náměstí in the center of Brno.
Meeting Brno is a festival bringing together people of different views, cultures, and religions. During the festival the audience can enjoy readings, theater performances, concerts, visual art exhibitions, and much more. American president Jimmy Carter believed that “Like music and art, love of nature is a common language that can transcend political or social boundaries.” This year, the festival focuses on the unity of Europe being jeopardized by populism and radicalization of its societies.
The rock band Kontrolla will kick off the festival at 5 PM. Meeting Brno Point installation that has been prepared over past weeks will be officially introduced at the event. The authors and architects of the installation, Ondřej Chybík and Michal Krištof will give a guided tour on its premises. Later the opening of the exhibition Opráski s brněnskí historje will take place.
