If you are a football fan, you do not have any excuse to miss this event. This Saturday, Brno will see an impressive number of famous footballers on one field from teams like FC Zbrojovka Brno, SK Slavia Praha, AC Sparta Praha, or FC Barcelona. To mention a few celebrities that will attend the event: Spanish Ion Goikoetxea, author of two goals at the World Cup of 1994; Tomáš Ujfaluši who represented Czech colors at the 2006 World Cup and two European Championships; or Marek Jankulovski who has played as a defender for A.C. Milan for 6 years.
The matches tomorrow will open up European Championship season of mini football. Ten teams will play from dusk until dawn to determine the winner. The first match starts at 09:30, with the finale scheduled at 17:40. For the event, the organizers built up a special arena in the area of old Stadium Za Luzankami.
Probably the most anticipated match by Brno’s fans is Zbrojovka versus Barcelona that starts at 12:50. Every match is promised to be an action-filled 16-minute battle.
All footballers will be at the Fan Zone to greet fans and sign photos and T-shirts in the pauses between the matches.
The cost of a ticket is 200 CZK. Last tickets are available on the spot or at the Top4Football store, at Bubeníčková 13. A part of the collected entrance money will be donated to charity.
