Active young Europeans are meeting up in Brno! The 85th International Session of European Youth Parliament (EYP) will host 300 participants from 40 countries and give them the unique chance to experience other cultures and leave stereotypes behind for two days.

What the 85th International Session of the European Youth Parliament is about? It is a an educational program which promotes political debate, intercultural encounters, European civic education and the exchange of ideas among young people. More than 600 events take place every year. The program is powered by more than 3.000 active young European volunteers, who have successfully established it as one “for young people, made by young people”.

During the EYP events young people take part in high quality academic debates aiming to impact European decision-makers. They create connections and friends from all around Europe and get motivated to have an active European citizenship. Young active people are the future of the Europe and here they get their chance to act and react to major European issues.

This year the theme is “Seeking the Heart of Europe” and from July 19 to 30, young participants are called to exchange their ideas and discuss various European issues giving their own point of view on the matters and suggest solutions. The participants will also get to explore the city of Brno and Czech culture.

For two days the heart of Europe will beat in Brno. The 85th International Session of the European Youth Parliament is a celebration of diversity and unity.
