On Wednesday July 19, at 8 in the morning, two trams near the tram stop Tkalcovská crashed. The driver of one of the trams (the tram #4) did not handle the control of his vehicle and crashed into the tram in front of him.
During the collision, several tram passengers were wounded. Material damage amounts to 90 thousand crowns. A seventy-two year old woman who suffered serious injuries passed away later in the hospital.
The Police are looking for witnesses from the tram number #4 that was going to the center who could provide more details about the circumstances of the passenger’s death.
Anyone who noticed the aftermath and circumstances of the collision is asked to provide information to the Police – call 158 or speak directly to the traffic accident specialist at 974 628 327.
