Brno, July 27 (BD) – The Brno-Centre municipality invites you to have a seat in Nové Sady and try out various designs of benches.
Brno-Centre looks for a new design of city benches which would be fancied by citizens themselves rather than chosen by authorities.
You could happen to overlook all the different possibilities to sit down at in a small park in Nové Sady, since from far away it seems like a classical park with classical benches. But it is not. There are 11 benches from at least 3 providers.
From classical, to square or round, with backrest or without you will even find a rotating bench that is probably the one which captures much of attention. If you are a provider interested in such a public showroom, you can still participate and submit your application to jana.vytiskova@brno-stred.cz.
Do not hesitate and try out some benches, now. After finding your favorite or the most comfortable one, stop by on this website and join the survey, mark the bench you like and click the dark blue button “Hlasovat” (Vote) down on the website.
You can even browse graphically presented poll results so far here. Such poll and bench showroom provide opportunity for all citizens to co-create Brno-Centre’s public city furniture. Final poll results will serve as a basis for eventual equipment-provider choice.
So far, the bench “Borola” (on title picture) made by Mobiliarpro has gained most votes.
The survey has been already operating since May.
