Grand Prix to be secured by hundreds of policemen

Due to the announced first level alert of terrorism, more police forces will be deployed in the areas monitoring the circuit. Visitors of the Championship should expect in-depth inspections due to the level of alert. New concrete reinforced barriers will be installed. If you notice any suspicious activity, please contact the Police.

Besides that, there will be additional forces deployed to the parking lots and camping sites to ensure the safety of your belongings.

Free buses to Brno Circuit

During the mornings and afternoons throughout the Grand Prix weekend, heavy traffic is expected. Police officers will moderate the traffic to speed up the travels. Be advised, for the Sunday race you may want to set off earlier than expected, as it is the main event.

If you are planning to go by car it is recommended to take the D1 motorway with the nearest exit at 182 – Kývalka or 178 – Ostrovačice. The ways to car parking lots will be marked with traffic signs.

Public transportation (special lines of buses) from Brno to the circuit will be free.
