Petit Cru wine bar & shop is organizing a trip across the colorful fruity palette of selection of sparkling wines.
The team of connoisseurs prepare an extraordinary summer tasting in the shades of the garden. The origins of champagne range from the Moravian wineries to the famous Champagne region.
Champagne as a failure
Some say that champagne was at first considered a failure in a production of a good bottle of wine. One of the by-products of fermentation is the release of carbon dioxide. Being in a weakly sealed bottle, the gas would overpower the bottle and make it explode. If the bottle however survives the process, the wine will be fizzy.
The bubbly wine became popular among nobility in France after the death of Louis XIV.
The places at the event are limited (only 14!), so hurry up and book a seat in the garden.
