Brno, August 18 (BD) – One of the most popular low-cost airlines WizzAir canceled a regular fare from Brno to Eindhoven in Netherlands which has been flying twice a week past 6 years. The last flight will take off at the end of October.

Brno Airport spokesperson Kateřina Pichalová says that they were not told the reason. WizzAir spokesperson Sorina Ratz however confirmed that the reason for the line closure is a low demand.

This line has been crucial for international transfers as the airport in Eindhoven is connected with Russia, Spain and Italy; the lines that Brno airport cancelled in past.

Without this connection, travelers will have make more changes to reach their final destination.

The airport is currently trying to negotiate with the carrier the conditions under which the line could still exist.
