Brno, August 24 (BD) – About 300 police officers will control the order at the Srbská stadium and in the streets, por. Andrea Cejnková from Brno Police informed.
Recently (July 28), Brno police had to intervene and resolve minor acts of violence between the fans of FC Zbrojovka Brno and FC Baník Ostrava at the Srbská stadium.
400 fans of Baník came on a special train to Brno in the afternoon. The train stopped at Slatina Station on the outskirts of the city and the fans took buses to the stadium. Other 500 fans came in their cars. The home club, FC Zbrojovka was supported by 3.500 people at the stadium.
FC Zbrojovka Brno won over AC Sparta Praha in a league competition last year.
Police units including horses, dogs, criminologist, and a special anti-conflict team will be deployed to ensure the safety of spectators and avert possible conflicts.
