A fountain of beer will kick off a whole-day celebration. “The beer fountain won’t spout directly from the historical Parnassus in the center of Zelný trh, but from the fountain in the courtyard of the Old Town Hall,” Jan Šmikmátor from the team of organizers informed Czech newspaper Brněnský deník.
After two months of trial operation, on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, the Brno Marketplace will be officially opened and the organizers promise it to be big. New Zelný trh indoor market place is located in the reconstructed late functionalist building at Zelný trh 14. We can’t wait to see the real beer fountain and sausage trees!
Fresh fruits, veggies or meat don’t have to cost you a fortune. Local markets are a key source of fresh ingredients and customer satisfaction. Fresh produce, fresh deli, fresh faces, fresh fish, fresh salads, sandwiches, ‘panini’ and breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, and a fresh approach to just about everything – this is what we expect from the new Zelný trh market place.

You can look forward to folklore music performances, DJ sets, and last but not least, tasting various culinary specialties of the local shops tomorrow.
A part of the program is a cooking show. At 12:15 PM, there is a cooking show for adults and at 4 PM, a kids version starts! See the complete program below.
