For fans of classical music with modern touch – Lukas Lauermann to present his first solo album in Brno.

Brno, Sept 16 (BD) – This September the Austrian cellist Lukas Lauermann will present his first solo album at a must-attend event in Music Lab in Brno. The artist was characterized as “probably the most versatile and productive cellist in Austria” by Austrian national daily Der Standard.

Lukas Lauermann has a rich background including performances along with well known Austrian bands such as Soap&Skin, Ritornell, Der Nino aus Wien and many others.

His activities include theater and performance projects with Gelatin, Saint Genet and more, as well as music for audio drama and film productions. How does he describe his music? “Barrier-free modern classical music”.

On September 20th, Lukas Lauermann invites us to listen into “the great spaces all around” – spaces of memory, chambers of sensation, places of yearning. The solo album consists of 19 music tracks – written and performed by him.
