Brno, Oct 4 (BD) – The construction of giant Chinese bath complex at Nové Mlýny near Pasohlávky has been discussed for many years. By the end of November 2017, the project for the spa construction should be completed.

The huge peninsula spa resort will offer treatment to patients with locomotive syndromes and skin diseases.

Martin Itterheim, the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thermal Pasohlávky, announced the construction of the spa for two billion crowns, Czech on-line daily iDnes.cz reported this Monday.

Chinese sink cash into new South Moravian spa,” the headline of Radio Praha’s article from 2016 read.

It will be the biggest spa resort  built on greenfield land in Central Europe. The large spa resort will cover a 20-hectare peninsula in Nové Mlýny Reservoir. It will be able to accommodate up to 2.000 guests and it will offer at least 500 new job opportunities.

In China, representatives of the Czech regional company signed a memorandum with “RiseSun” which wants to be the investor of the construction.

The Traditional Chinese Medicine Foundation (TCM) and the Tianjin Academy – reputedly one of the most famous Chinese universities – participate in the memorandum. They will advise about the design of the spa so that matches the traditional Chinese medicine parameters.

The Academy will help training the stuff. “This university is renowned for the quality of teaching,” Itterheim explained.
