Brno, Oct 7 (BD) – The new rules concerning the New Immigration Act Amendment in the Czech Republic entered into force in August 2017.
The legal changes apply to holders and applicants for long-term visa, business visa, and holders and applicants for long-term residence permits in the Czech Republic. New types of long-term residence permits have been introduced, too.
The changes are not retroactive. It means that if you had your documents issued before August 15, 2017 they are valid and you don’t need to take any steps.
The August Immigration Act Amendment introduced changes in areas of life such as:
- changing or losing a job
- applying and renewing resident permits and employee cards
- business in the Czech Republic.
