Brno Zelný trh Marketplace
Brno Marketplace is a unique complex. Its reconstruction (finished in summer 2017) was inspired from abroad, and now it offers all kind of goods to its customers.
The architect of the reconstruction project was Michal Palaščák.
“Reconstruction could be done in several different ways. And I am grateful to the investor for showing great courage and perhaps the most difficult, but architecturally the best way to go – to return the city market to a form from the time of its creation,” Michal Palaščák said in the official statement.
Each floor has its own concept. At the ground floor there is Matějovo Bakery, Jazz Café Podobrazy and Children’s Corner. In it, the animators take care of children so the parents can still go for shopping.
On the first floor, customers will find basic food and bistro, while the second floor is dedicated to “adventurous” merchandise.
On the third floor there is a working center, which changes to a bar with a breathtaking view in the evening.
