Brno, Oct 18 (BD) – The interactive exhibition is a great idea to take your children out of home and spend a fun and exciting day as family.
The exhibition Circus Mechanic combines art with science and technology.
Circus Mechanic’s was created in a partnership between the Rijksmuseum Boerhaave and the British Mechanical Cabaret Theater, and combines the magic world of circus and technology.
Both children and grown-ups are encouraged to come and learn about technology and science in an interactive, entertaining and ludic way.
The exhibition counts with the original, home-made puppets and vending machines created by Sue Jackson. It will make children feel excited about toys and science, and at the same time adults will wish to go back to their childhood.
While playing, the little scientists can satisfy their curiosity about gears, weights, levers, electricity and pulleys.
“The Circus Mechanic captivates you with its wit and gentle nostalgia with the touch of Victorian England,” the organization writes in their official website.
One highlight of the exhibition is the workshop that aims to teach children how to make their own mechanical toys.
The Circus Mechanic has been travelling around the world for twenty years. For the first time ever, the exhibition lands in Czech Republic. The exhibition will be open in Vida! Science Centre until the end of the year.
