Brno, Oct 19 (BD) – Brno City Municipality departments decided on which of the projects that received public support are feasible.

The projects that won in public voting in terms of city’s 2017 pilot participatory budgeting plan and are considered feasible by the municipality are now presented at a panel exhibition at náměstí Svobody.

84 projects that have been assessed as feasible in terms of realization, budget and other criteria can be viewed directly in the city center these days.

Exhibition panels with selected projects will be at náměstí Svobody until November 9, when the exhibition will be moved to Malinovského náměstí. They will stay there until the end of final voting, until November 22.

At the exhibition, Brain’s public can decide which of the projects will get their vote from November 1 to November 22, 2017.

All people with permanent residency in Brno can vote.

Everyone will have a total of 5 positive votes and 2 negative votes.

Voting will be online (https://damenavas.brno.cz/) or at a public meeting on October 14 at Mahen’s library.

The most successful projects will be implemented by the City of Brno in the next year!

“Dáme na vás” is the first project of this kind in Brno and was launched in the beginning of 2017. The city allocated 20 million crowns for the development of the projects. Each initiative can receive up to 2 million.

Earlier this year, the projects were submitted to the website for the people to vote for. For a plan to be considered by the municipality, it had to get minimum 150 likes on the web or the author had to submit a paper petition signed by at least 15 citizens.
