Brno, Oct 29 (BD) – Brno can start looking forward to experiencing a new water park. The project was approved by the Brno councilors this year. Thanks to the newly released visualization, we can look inside the planned water paradise now.

There are water slides, artificial waves, sandy beach, outdoor river, or pirate ship.

The new water park will be built up next to the current indoor swimming pool near Lužánky park. Brno Daily wrote about it here: New Lužánky Water Park.

“We would like to support the development of swimming sports and to modernize the whole area,” Petr Hladík, First Deputy Mayor of Brno, said.

The councilors decided on the form of a new attraction in July 2017. From the submitted applications, the variant with a wave-shaped roof was chosen.

Expected costs are almost a half a billion Czech crowns.

Water park construction could start in 2019. At the new water park for more than two thousand people, Brno citizens could bathe in 2022, Czech daily Rovnost writes.
