Brno is home to the 4th edition of Prototyp Festival, which offers the magic of science, technology and art all in one package.

As this event was created with children and adult entertainment in mind, there are activities for everyone. It’s a good reason to spend an exciting weekend in the company of the whole family.

“We like the idea that Prototyp connects art, technology and science but also the people of different age and from different fields,” the Head of Marketing & PR of Prototyp Dominika Vamberská says.

The goal of Prototyp Festival is to inspire people. “People will find out new possibilities, information and they will see how they can create a piece of art by using new technologies or scientific principles,” Vamberská adds.

The event promises to engage all the participants in funny, playful and didactic environment.

As the Prototyp Festival combines the best of the three worlds, it features lectures, inspirational talks, interactive exhibitions and workshops on prototyping 3D products, principles of generative design and many more.

This year’s programme will please everyone’s taste. Beside the lectures and exhibitions, Prototyp Festival includes music – and plenty of it.

The event kicks off with a fashion show, after which music artists like Himalayan Dalai Lama and PSJ will take the stage.

According to the official website, the last 3 editions of Prototyp Festival together welcomed more than 5000 visitors.

The event is organized by the non-profit organization Kulturárium, in partnership with TIC BRNO and Visualove, with the support of the South Moravia Region, the City of Brno and the Foundation of the Artist Life.

The event is family-friendly and open to the public.
