Brno, Dec 5 (BD) – The Czech Republic is known the world over for having some of the best preserved architecture in Europe, and Brno is certainly no exception. This winter you can see some of the best that Brno has to offer in the space of just a few hours.

This Christmas season, minibus tours of Brno’s breathtaking villas are running on weekends until the 17th of December. The tour includes visits to the Löw-Beer Villa, Jurkovič Villa, Stiassni Villa and Mitrovský Summer Villa.

In addition to being able to view these elegant properties, the tour will also make stops at a number of historic cathedrals, theatres and, weather permitting, Spilberk Castle, as well as the modern Brno Exhibition Centre and Brno Observatory and Planetarium. It is a great way to see Brno’s most important landmarks for a very reasonable price (250 CZK for a standard ticket).

The tours leave from Freedom Square (náměstí Svobody) in the centre of town at 10:00am and again at 1:00pm on both Saturdays and Sundays.

More information on prices and ticketing is available at Go To Brno’s website.
