Brno, Dec 6 (BD) – Last year, Karel Otto Hrubý would have celebrated his 100th birthday. K. O. Hrubý was a photographer, teacher, curator, and author of literature about photography.
His legacy will be commemorated in a retrospective exhibition mapping his photographic work.
The exhibition will feature live photography, portraits, landscapes, snapshots from everyday life, photographs of the metamorphosing city, and theatre and staged photography.

The paintings of Tadeáš Kotrba reflect the artist’s own experiences and memories, invoking the feelings behind them as well as existential thoughts of a more general nature. Click for details.
The official exhibitions’ opening ceremony was yesterday (Dec. 5) at The House of Arts.
