In case you haven’t made plans for the New Year’s Eve yet, fret not. Brno Wintercamp invites you to a 5-day long international party centered around hospitality exchange.
You always wished to Couchsurf, but never got the chance. Most of your free time is spent vigorously checking AirBnb recommendations. And when you set foot abroad, you immerse yourself in a local culture, chat with locals and other travelers with ease.
In case any of these sentences rings true, there is an event that might make you reconsider your New Year Eve’s plans — from Thursday, 28th of December 2017 to Tuesday, 2nd of January 2018, Brno will be home to an event which will bring people together in a Couchsurfing-like manner.
“We are a group of travelers who travel to different cities around Europe every New Year’s Eve and have a party,” organizers introduce the origins of their idea.
The visitors will participate every day in trips, workshops, sightseeing and cultural events. Evenings will be reserved for parties centered around different themes.
“There is a number of activities planned for each day, so the visitors will get the chance to breakfast together, have workshops, visit the Atomic Bomb Shelter and the abandoned WWII aircraft engine factory tunnels, go to wine tastings, enjoy a funk rock concert, relax at a spa, have an International evening with food sharing and plenty more,” organizers write.
Most morning and evening events will take place in ArtBar Druhý Pád.
You can visit the official Facebook event here, or get more information on the official website.
