Brno, Dec 18 (BD) – Seven days left until Christmas: people are getting in the happy-lazy festive mood, doing last-minute gift shopping, and making plans for family vacations.
Christmas decorations are everywhere and the aroma of the mulled wine is in the air on the streets. There is so much to discover in Europe! We could say that European cities are competing each other to have the finest decorations, best Christmas market, most beautiful Christmas tree, and so on.
The travel web European Best Destinations released their annual ranking of the Best Christmas holiday destinations in Europe. People from all over the world enjoy their dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh time and bring back home the best traditional Christmas gifts at these Christmas markets.
Some of them have to make a long trip to get to their dream destination, but for us, people living in the Czech Republic, it’s easy – this country is home of three of the best Christmas European destinations!

In medieval Český Krumlov, located in the heart of Europe and listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List, you will fall in love with the calm and friendly atmosphere.
