As a part of their tour, the ensemble will visit Brno for the first time.
They will perform on Dec. 21, 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm in the SONO Music Club (map).
This highly appreciated gospel band has already fascinated a number of audiences around the world.
The ensemble brings together talents with unique vocal capabilities which combined with traditional gospel elements ensure a breathtaking spectacle and intense performance. They literally spread joy at their performances!
Brno’s performance will feature the most famous songs from their repertoire they have been traveling all over Europe for the last years with.
There will be songs like Oh Happy Day, Down by the Riverside, and unforgettable Amazing Grace.
The leading personality of the ensemble is Stella Jones, a singer whose genre besides the gospel interferes with jazz, pop, funk, and soul music.
Stella was born in Berlin. At the age of five, she received from her father, American jazz trumpet player, Carmell Jones, her first keyboard. Since then she has been intensively devoted to music. When she was only nine, she has started composing her own songs.
In 1984 she started recording and performing in musicals. The most well-known is the British-American musical comedy sci-fi horror film Rocky Horror Picture Show.
She represented Austria twice at the European Songcontest and worked with world-known artists like Sir Jam (Rapper of Prince), Chaka Khan, Gloria Gaynor, and many other others.
In the summer of 2016, she performed in the MTV Unplugged series.
