Brno Business Toastmasters is a platform for all people from the region interested in improving their communication, presentation and leadership skills, and networking.
Everybody is welcome: “outsiders, corporate workers, students, the unemployed. They can perform prepared speeches in English or improvise within 1-2 minutes“, VP-PR of Brno Business Toastmasters Mihaela Chioveanu says.
How does this work? „We coach and mentor speakers who want to prepare their speeches following our manuals in fields of body language, vocal variety, getting to the point, visual aids, speech structure, etc.“, Chioveanu explains.
Tonight’s meeting will be divided into two parts. First part of the program features the speeches of Matěj Monček and Mihaela Chioveanu. Sets of small speeches prepared on the spot on the topic of ‘New Year 2018 wishes’ will ensue. All speeches will be evaluated and the best speakers will be given special prizes.
The events are free of charge and it is not necessary to register before attending.
The meeting takes place tonight (Jan. 9) from 6:20 at Místogalerie – Dům Skleněná louka.
