Brno, March 2 (BD) – BVV – Brněnské výstaviště (Brno Exhibition Centre) is holding the first edition of the Festival of Tastes.

“A unique landmark, an interesting story, the magic of a certain place – many things inspire Czechs to put on a rucksack and venture outdoors. And if there’s a little brewery along the way, so much the better,” Michal Svoboda, PR manager at Brno Exhibition Center mentions.

You can try beers from Bohemian and Moravian microbreweries that will offer you a range of flavours that are connected with each region. “This is their strength – every month they can come up with a new ‘specialty’, which the big brewers just can’t do,” explains Radovan Koudelka from the Bohemian and Moravian Federation of Microbreweries.

You can try hundreds of beers, including a number of original “specialty” beers.

If you just want to accompany a beer lover, you will have alternatives, as there are “other delicacies apart from beer, for example cheeses, pâtés, pastas, meat products, honey, confectionery and some other excellent musts,” Michal Svoboda adds.

The Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Crafts CZ conducted a survey that proves that “three out of ten tourists regard small breweries as their target destination on a trip, while almost half of customers are prepared to pay extra for their drop of the amber liquid.”

It can become your next goal too!
