Brno, Mar 26 (BD) – This lucky draw Easter contest should bring attention to the BrnoID project.

Anyone who signs up on the Brnoid.cz portal and sets up a user account with fully verified personal data from March 20 to April 8 and clicks on the competition link (‘Easter gift’) and follows the instructions can win one of nine yearly “šalinkarta”.

BrnoID is an online platform where the city offers its digitized services. It is also available in English.

Today, it is possible to use several municipal services at BrnoID.

For example, you can buy an electronic subscription for a public transport ticket or pay the municipal waste tax.

As of November, the city offers a tourist card for visitors to the city. The tourist card (BRNOPAS) is, according to the website, “the first and the best friend you should have in Brno”.

With BRNOPAS, tourists can get free admission and discounts at selected places such as Brno Zoo and Moravian Gallery, as well as interesting tourist tips. The basic BRNOPAS for 24 hours costs 190 CZK.

At the end of February, more than 54,000 citizens of Brno were registered on the BrnoID portal, the City of Brno reports in a recent press release on its website.
