Days of European Film, an English (and Czech) speaker-friendly three-day festival featuring films from eight different European nations, begins this evening at Scala Cinema.
Films to be screened this weekend include productions from Greece, Hungary, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Norway and Spain, with most of the films being shown in their original languages.
Eight of the ten films will be available with English subtitles, and all of them will be available with Czech subtitles according to the official website.
The program at Scala Cinema runs from 6pm today until late on Sunday night:

20:30 – 1945
23:00 – Above the Law
Saturday April 7
18:00 – If I Think of Germany at Night
20:30 – Magical Mystery or: The Return of Karl Schmidt
23:00 – Wild Mouse
Sunday April 8
13:00 – Requirements to Be a Normal Person
18:00 – Staying Alive
20:30 – Big Time
21:00 – Across the Waters (to be screened in the coffee bar)
Tickets costs CZK 110 per film, with the exception of Across the Waters (CZK 50), and are available on Scala Cinema’s website, which can also be accessed from links on the festival’s official website.
