MINT: Brno Fashion Market was founded in 2010 as a platform serving to support independent fashion designers. It focuses on original designs, local products, responsible consumption, recycling and sustainability.
It offers an alternative to shopping in anonymous shopping centres and rather focuses on direct contact between seller and customer.
Organising events like this means a great deal to independent designers in terms of “their financial income, promotion, cooperation with other designers, and as a motivation for creating new collections,” MINT’s PR manager Kateřina Pletichová says.

This time, the market also includes a food court named Gastronebe, which means that visitors will be able to grab a coffee, drinks, cheese delicacies, chilli products, sweets, and vegan snacks while taking a look around.
This event is a nice opportunity for both designers and visitors because of the “atmosphere of sharing products made with love, meeting interesting people, and enjoying the market as it used to be – as a place where producers meet their customers in a friendly manner,“ Pletichová says.
