For technological reasons, work will also have to be done on Klácelova and Kampelíkova Streets, as well as the so far undeveloped parts of Lerchova Street.
“Upon completion of the work on Údolní Street, the contractor has 9 months to complete the construction work in the rest of the contract,” the City of Brno specifies on its website.
“When working on these streets, the contractor will always ensure that the site is not blocked from a transport point of view,” reads kopemezabrno.cz, the city’s official website for roadworks and road closures in Brno.
The traffic limitations will affect the operation of tram line 4, which will be partially supplemented by alternative transport in the construction zone.
