On Tuesday April 24, Tržnice Brno will host a large festival promoting traveling, studying and working abroad. It is also “a great opportunity to meet international students studying in Brno at the moment, and get to know their culture and country,“ organisers write.

The festival will offer presentations by universities in Brno in the morning, and presentations from frequent travellers in the afternoon. The presentations will be held on the 4th floor of the Tržnice Brno building.

In addition to presentations, there will be an “info-market“ – stalls with delegations, which will include university representatives and foreign exchange students, who will present themselves and their countries, as well as some Czech students who have returned from their exchange studies abroad. The info-market will last the whole day.

If you need some rest, you will be able to relax in the “chill-out zone“, equipped with bean bag chairs and magazines – but if you’d rather stay active, you can play ‘Guitar Hero’, foosball or virtual reality games.

The official programme will be in Czech, but the accompanying programme will be mostly in English.

The festival is organised by the Erasmus Student Network Czech Republic (ESN CZ), a non-profit student organisation.

Entrance to the International Festival is free of charge and open to everyone.
