Almost everyone feels that Mondays are boring. But it doesn’t have to be so – at least not this week!
Today, along the whole of Bašty Street from 3pm to 10pm, you have the opportunity to have fun with your friends in a unique atmosphere in the very centre of Brno!
Petr Steinbock, owner of High Five Bar and the main organiser of this event, explained that “all the companies on Bašty Street who want to take part in events like this…” have joined forces to create a new organization – Bašty Street – with the purpose of “showing people that Bašty Street has a high potential, thanks to its bars and its position near to the main train station”.
So, what can you expect from this event?
First of all, entrance is free! You just have to show up! “In the bars and restaurants along Bašty Street, and even in the street itself, there will be barbecues, drinks of all kind and various foods that you can buy. In the street there will be funky disco music, and in the backyard of Padowetz there will be traditional Moravian music called ‘Cimbalka’. In High Five Bar there will be a concert by James Band (rock n’ roll), plus an afterparty for the whole event with DJs,” said Steinbock.
In his own words, “this is the first event of its kind, and we plan on more… In this case, the event is mostly for young people who would like to party, and it doesn’t matter if they speak Czech or not… But in the future, we would like to organise special events for families and their kids, and also events dedicated to food and drink.”
