Brno, May 14 (BD) – A tram ran over a young woman at Antonínská stop on Lidická Street on Saturday. The injured woman was immediately taken to hospital.
The young woman suffered multiple injuries, local online daily Brněnská Drbna reported yesterday. “Upon arrival, she was conscious,” said a spokesman for South Moravian Rescue Services, according to Brněnský deník Rovnost daily, who first reported the incident.
Police are investigating the accident. Brněnský deník Rovnost reported that alcohol was not involved, with the tests of both the driver and pedestrian coming back clear.
