Brno, May 31 (BD) – The idea behind these events is to create a pleasant atmosphere that is perfect for ‘Friday night out’ warm-ups, starting in the afternoon and lasting until 9 or 10pm.

June 1

June kicks off with DJ Romeo Green, who is the owner of the Stereo Vinyl Culture Shop. Over the course of the evening, it will be possible to purchase vinyl records brought from the shop.

Before the evening programme, Tržnice Brno will hold a day programme called “Children’s Day” which features sporting activities out in front and activities inside of the Tržnice Brno building. The programme will start at 2pm and last until 6pm.

June 8

Friday, June 8 will be all about music and the food and drink from Tržnice Brno’s shops and restaurants in “Bistro pasáž” and their outdoor gardens. Cupcakekárna na Zelňáku, Coucou pastrami, Jean Paul’s bistro, Matějovo pekařství, Café Podobrazy and other shops on the 1st floor of the Tržnice Brno building will take part.

For the June 8 festivities, organisers will prepare a leaflet and a Facebook event page which will serve as an invitation to local musicians and DJs who wish to participate in the upcoming events, the next one being on June 22.

The idea is to continue holding these kinds of events in the near future.

“If there is interest from musicians and visitors, we would like to continue throughout the whole summer,“ says Martina Langhammerova from the organisation.

June 15-16

The 31st MINT: Brno Fashion Market brings independent fashion and jewelry to Tržnice Brno. Around 60 designers will display their products on the 2nd floor. Entrance to the market is free of charge. It is suitable for families with kids, and it is dog-friendly.
