If there is something that is never missing in Brno, it is a variety of festivals showcasing food, drink, history, arts, and culture. Combining culture and cuisine is a popular choice among many organisers and festival-goers, and an upcoming festival of Asian culture is no exception! Photo: Pixabay
Zelný trh will turn into a centre of Asian culture on Saturday June 16 from 10am to 6pm. You can expect cultural performances from various Asian countries and, of course, food.
The main organisers of the festival are INFO-DRÁČEK and ZaseRyze.cz, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Brno-střed District.
The festival aims to deepen our appreciation of Asian culture, which is still quite unfamiliar to most Czechs despite the fact that Czechs of both European and Asian descent live in close proximity to each other.
This event is a part of the festival “Uprostřed”, the goal of which is to connect people regardless of age or cultural background.
More information on the full programme of ‘Asia from Near and Far’ is coming soon. Keep up to date by checking here.
Entrance to the festival is free of charge.
