Letní kino Brno-střed

Letní kino Brno-střed opens the season with the legendary movie Big Lebowski on June 29 at 9:30pm. Screenings are scheduled every day until August 31. Find the program here. Entry free.

Letní Kino Brno

(Brno City Theatre, Lidická 12)

As a part of the Summer Festival at the Brno City Theatre, Letní Kino Brno (Summer Cinema Brno) kicks off where June ends (June 29).

Screenings in July will be starting at 9.30 pm, and in August at 9 pm. Last screening of this Summer Cinema will take place on August 28, 2018.

This is the festival’s eight year, and it is different than the others because it is actually a kind of open-air cinema-restaurant, where you can dine while watching a movie.

More than 60 films will be available during the Summer Cinema time, and the admission is 99 CZK. Five crowns from each ticket will go to Velvet Smile, an organization that provides assistance and support to children and adults with social or physical disabilities.

Summer Cinema Scala

In cooperation with the Moravian Gallery, Kino Scala prepares screenings in the open air of Governor’s Palace’s courtyard. The garden in the courtyard of the Governor’s Palace is open every day (start on Saturday, June 30).

A detailed programme is available here. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the box office. Price is 90 CZK without discounts. Reservations are not possible.

Špilberk castle – Letní kino

The Špilberk Summer Cinema starts the season on a significant day in American history – July 4, with screening of the movie ‘Independence Day’. Screenings at Špilberk castle’s terrace will last all summer long for three times a week, every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with the beginning at 9.30 pm in July, and at 9 pm in August and September. You can also purchase hot dogs, popcorn, drinks, and other snacks for your enjoyment.

The price is 90 CZK without the discount and 75 CZK for students. Tickets can be purchased only at the entrance (no online reservations).

Amfiteátr Čertova rokle

(Nejedlého 13, Lesná, map)

For a calm atmosphere in nature, pack your blanket and head to the amphitheater Čertova rokle. The summer screenings kicked off on June 8 and will last till August 30.

Židenické letní kino na Dělňáku

(Jamborova 65, Židenice)

Do you live in Židenice district?  You’ve probably seen posters of Židenické letní kino na Dělňáku. Thursdays evenings in summer belong to an open-air movie theater at ‘House of Culture na Dělňáku’ at Jamborova 65.
