Samples of more than 150 wines in 25 open cellars – doesn’t that sound like a great plan for a Saturday? Photo credit: Vinaři Mikulovské podoblasti
In Mikulov, not far from Brno, the second ‘open cellars’ event will take place on July 7. From 10 am to 7 pm, you will be able to enjoy a variety of wines from the region. Sampled wines will be on sale on Sunday morning from 9 am to 12 pm.
The entrance fee is 650 CKZ if you buy online (on sale until July 1) and 750 CK at the gate. The ticket includes tasting of all the wines from the catalog free of charge (0,02 L) in each cellar; a coupon of 400 CZK if you wish to buy certain wines; a glass and a glass holder; a map of all the participating cellars, and a catalog of the wines.
As some of the cellars are on the outskirts of Mikulov, transport will be organized from the city center to the cellars and back.
Find more information and the list of participating winemakers on the official website or Facebook page.
