Brno, Jul 2 (BD) – This Monday, July 2, will see the beginning of summer holiday public transport timetables, to apply on working days. School bus services do not operate in the summer months.

Tram lines 9 and 10 will not run to Líšeň and Stránská skála this summer and will be replaced by buses 55 and 78. “The cancelled tram line 9 will be substituted by an increased service on lines 8 and 11,” said Barbora Doležalová, spokesperson for Brno Transport Company (DPMB).

“Due to reconstruction of the track triangle in Moravské náměstí, tram line 4 will be diverted to run along Husova Street. In the second half of July, we will also reduce the service on tram line 6,” she added.

Doležalová listed the changes to the summer public transport timetables in Brno. Line number 8 will be diverted from Geislerova and will run through Dělnický dům to Juliánov.

Tram lines 3 and 5 in the direction of the city centre will terminate at the junction of Koliště and Milady Horákové Street. Lines 3 and 5 will be replaced by the extra tram line x14 running on the following route: Bystrc, Rakovecká – Vozovna Komín – Veveří – Česká – Mendlovo náměstí – Ústřední hřbitov.

Due to works on Slovanské náměstí, trolleybuses and buses do not stop at Husitská, as of last Saturday.

Zvonařka tram loop will be cancelled as a part of road works on Plotní Street.
