“Free Nights” are events at which three bands get the chance to play in a well-known club in the center of the city. Admission is free for guests, but you can support the bands voluntarily.The first “Free Night” of the summer features two pop-rock and alternative rock bands, and a unique multi-genre band with a vocalist with African roots. “During these events, we are introducing talented young bands to give them the opportunity to show their talent to a wider audience. We are looking for bands in Brno mostly, but we are not afraid to look further,” said Karolína Horáková, production manager at Melodka and “Free Nights”.
Doors open at 8pm and the first concert starts at 9pm. You can find the Facebook event here. What else? After the concerts, there is an “after-party” until the morning. Don’t miss it! “Free Nights” are regular events taking place twice a month. The next event is July 20: Pepsi Free Night: Ertha, Stay Down, NüDrive.
