Brno, Jul 26 (BD) – The first project is the renovation of another part of Údolní, between Husova and Úvoz. “The implementation is expected in 2018 and 2019,” said Deputy Mayor for Investment Richard Mrázek in an official press release. Údolní is currently being renovated between Úvoz tram stop and the turning for the swimming stadium. A complete reconstruction of the street is underway, including the tram line. Trams are currently not running between Úvoz and náměstí Míru, but terminating instead at Úvoz.
Trams to náměstí Míru will be replaced by bus route x4 from Komenského náměstí, which will travel along trolleybus routes 38 and 39 to Vaňkovo náměstí, and then along Lerchova to náměstí Míru.
The public procurement contract for the reconstruction of the road triangle at Semilasso cultural center is estimated at CZK 4.9 million excluding VAT. The work is estimated to take place in 2018-2019, according to Kateřina Gardoňová from the City of Brno press center.
