Brno, Aug 2 (BD) – The seats are being cleaned using a so-called wet cleaning method that involves a special machine and chemical cleaning agents. This method of cleaning takes around two hours per vehicle on average and is more efficient than the chemical method used previously. The new method also leaves the tram cars with a fresh scent.

“We are constantly trying to improve the quality of travel for our customers, but also for drivers. Of course, we clean all their seats. In the future, we plan to continue with [the method of] cleaning in the buses and trolleybuses, and repeat it as needed,” said DPMB director Miloš Havránek in an official press release this Tuesday.

The cleaning procedure costs around CZK 400,000, according to the press release.
