Brno Mayor Petr Vokřál and representatives of the companies involved in the project signed a contract for the design and construction of an athletics centre in Bohunice on Thursday, August 2, and laid the foundation stone, according to an official press release from the city of Brno. Brno, Aug 9 (BD) – The facility in the Bohunice campus will be able to host various sporting activities and events for the public and Masaryk University. The new centre will meet the International Association of Athletics Federations’ standards for national and international competitions. The “Campus Hall” will also meet the winter training needs of Brno athletic clubs, including youth and senior teams.

The price outlined in the contract is CZK 648,780,000 excluding VAT, according to the City’s press release.
