On Tuesday, from 7pm to 9pm, Brno will host its very first silent disco “Silent party na Svoboďáku“. You might be asking yourself “What’s this all about?”. A silent disco is an event where people can dance to music through headphones, while those without headphones hear no music, giving the effect of a room full of people dancing to nothing. The event is also a peaceful protest against the ban on music and dance events in the city’s main square (Read more in our previous article “Court: The city must keep the noise down during events, but limits do not apply to private events”).
Music will be broadcast via radio by Hitrádio City Brno (99.0 and 100.8 FM) and there will be dance performances from NO FEET dance studio, the hosts of the event. Drinks will be provided by Na Brno dobrý stand. You can find out more on Facebook.
