Known as the happiest 5km in the world, the Rainbow Run is a five-kilometre, un-timed race for adults, where you have the chance to win a medal and find treasure at the end of the rainbow.
“This event is not just for runners, you can walk, you can go for the 1km race with the kids, kids can ride bikes, and so on. This is an event for the whole family, from children to older people. One great part of this event is a charity project – Give a Rainbow – making dreams come true for sick children and their families, and that’s the reason why, whatever ticket pack you choose (standard, silver or gold), the pack always includes a contribution for charity”, explained Helena Kramná, a member of the Spokey Rainbow Run production team.
During this event, which starts at 1pm, you can participate in competitions and visit the beach area full of palm trees and pirates, while the fun is soundtracked by Czech and Slovak performers such as Dara Rolins, Rytmus, Michal Kavalčík and DJ LOWA.
The purpose of this race is to promote health and happiness. To participate in the event you need to register here. You can choose to run alone or with a team and buy your tickets at the venue or on ticketpro.cz.
Two rainbow runs have already taken place this year, in Ústí Nad Labem and Ostrava. This is the last chance in 2018 to be a Rainbow Runner in the Czech Republic.
