“Mezinárodní folklorní festival Brno” has been held yearly since 1990. This year, the festival will take place from Thursday, August 30 to Sunday, September 2. The four-day-long festival will feature 25 performances in various locations of Brno, including náměstí Svobody, Old Town Hall courtyard or Dělnický dům in Líšeň.
As part of the festival, a folklore fair featuring a variety of craft artists and their work will take place on náměstí Svobody on Friday, August 31 from 12 to 7pm.
Every year, around one thousand artists from the Czech Republic and two hundred artists from different parts of the world perform on the stages of the International Folklore Festival Brno. You can find the program on the official website of the festival.
