Good news for the Asian cuisine fans in Brno: On September 1, the annual Asian Food Festival “Ochutnej Asii” returns for the third time to delight Asian food lovers in Brno.

This year, visitors will be able to taste a variety of choices from the Vietnamese, Indian, Japanese, Nepali, Sri Lankan, Lebanese and Indonesian cuisines, including Asian soups and original drinks, from over 12 restaurants. One of the festival organizers, Veronika Hvízdalová (Foodpark.cz) recommends the “Sushiburrito”. She says that it is one of the “must-try” food choices of the festival. “Different choices of insects and vegan options are available as well,” Veronika adds.

A “hangout spot” with Asian tea and water pipe is also available for visitors who would like to rest and relax during the festival.

Visitors will not have to pay for a ticket to enter the festival this year. Tokens for purchasing food and drinks will be sold to visitors at the entrance. If visitors do not use all their tokens, they can can exchange them for cash when they leave the festival.
