There are so many benefits of playing team sports: They offer intense workouts and friendly competition, they foster camaraderie and they are a lot of fun. This is why you should take part in the Open BEC Tennis Tournament for doubles. It will take place at Kraví hora, the VUT premises (map) on Sunday, 16 September. The winning team will receive the major prize but all participants will receive a small award. Food and drinks will be served at a party following the match. The players of all levels are invited to join. “Do not worry, we don’t expect professional players. It will be more of a social event with lots of fun,” the organizers from the Brno Expat Centre promise.

Everybody is welcome to come and cheer. The audience will be able to watch all the matches from a viewing terrace. Marie Lungová, BEC Communication Manager, says with a smile: “No matter how good you are at tennis, you’ll have a nice Sunday afternoon with other expats from Brno. Invite your tennis-untouched friends to come and try it, too: if they don’t like it, they can sit in the café and chat with the rest of us.”

Don’t miss it! You can register, using this link by September 3: https://goo.gl/forms/4Fof320MQCZcgaRy1.

The match will start at 1.30 pm and will finish around 6 pm. The fee for participation is 250 CZK per person, which covers court rental fees and tennis balls. All the participants have to bring their own rackets.
