The “Októberfest na Zelňáku” party returns to Brno for the second time, and this year the organisers say “it will be bigger”. Some of the beers available for tasting will include beers from famous German breweries such as Paulaner, Späten, Hacker-Pschorr, Löwenbräu, or Weihenstephaner, the older functioning brewery in the world, established in 1040. “The beer is really ordered directly from traditional German breweries, in the Czech Republic, you will not find such a selection of Oktoberfest beers in one place anywhere else,” said Martina Langhammerová, the Event Manager of Tržnice Brno.
Beer in beer mugs (Bockbier or Doppelbock), open-air and covered seating, food, music and a fun entertainment program… if this combination sounds good to you, come to “Zelňák” on September 27-30.
“Beer will be served in beer mugs. The mugs can be bought or returned after you finish your beer. Regarding delicacies to eat, we will have traditional pretzels, Bavarian sausages, cabbage, grilled meat and dumplings,” said Langhammerová.
