From October 10 to 13, the 59th Brno 16 International Short Film Festival will feature numerous short films and events for film enthusiasts. One of the oldest international short film festivals in the world will take place in several locations and theatres of Brno this year.

The four-day festival will feature various short films, including live-action films, animations, experimental films, student films, and also amateur productions, according to the official program of Brno 16.

The festival welcomes filmmakers from all around the world, including local filmmakers who will be available to discuss their films and the production experience. “We have many directors, producers and others from the film production as guests at our festival. You can meet people from Spain, Poland, Portugal, Austria, Germany, Slovakia and of course the Czech Republic,” the organizers told Brno Daily.

As well as discussion sessions, the program features a competition, exhibitions, and workshops.

Organized by TIC Brno, the festival will take place at Kino Art, the Moravian Gallery Brno, Tržnice Marketplace, Café Praha v Brně, and Atomový kryt 10-Z. Don’t miss this feast of films.
