Brno, Oct 14 (BD) – His opponent, Jaromír Ostrý, ex-director of the Czech Radio (Český rozhlas) in Brno and Zlín and candidate for ANO, received 27,59% of the vote.
Bek was nominated by the Mayors and Independents (Starostové a nezávislí) and was supported by the Greens, ODS and TOP 09.
According to the Czech Statistical Office, 12,72% of eligible voters participated in the second round of the Senate elections in the Senate district Brno-město.
